Training Model Participation
Derma Institute offers opportunities for suitable individuals to be considered as training models for educational purposes during supervised aesthetic training days. Training models support the practical education of registered health practitioners and participate under the close supervision of experienced medical trainers.
All participation is subject to medical assessment, suitability, and availability. Procedures are selected by supervising practitioners based on training requirements and individual clinical considerations. Reduced fees may apply to reflect the educational nature of the session.
Training model participation is open to individuals aged 18 or over. Not all applicants will be accepted, and inclusion cannot be guaranteed.
Training Model Participation – What to Expect
Educational Purpose
Training model participation supports the practical education of registered health practitioners and takes place as part of structured, supervised training programmes.
Medically Supervised Environment
All procedures are carried out under the close supervision of experienced medical trainers, with patient safety and clinical standards prioritised at all times.
Eligibility and Suitability Assessment
All potential models must be aged 18 or over and will undergo an individual medical assessment. Participation is subject to suitability, availability, and training requirements.
Procedure Selection
Procedures are selected by supervising practitioners based on educational needs and clinical considerations. Not all procedures are available at every training session.
Fees and Participation
Training model participation may involve reduced fees to reflect the educational nature of the session. This is determined on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed.

Training Model Participation – Terms & Conditions
Training model participation is open to individuals aged 18 years or over, subject to medical assessment and suitability.
All participants are required to provide written informed consent prior to participation. Consent for photography is optional and separate from consent for participation.
Procedures are carried out by registered health practitioner delegates as part of supervised training, under the direct oversight of experienced medical trainers.
A $100 deposit is required to secure a training model placement. This amount is applied towards any applicable participation fee on the day.
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a booking.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in the deposit being retained.
Derma Institute reserves the right to request full payment in advance where a participant has previously failed to attend a booked session.
Images or video footage may be captured during training sessions for educational or internal purposes only. Use of any images for marketing or promotional purposes requires separate, explicit consent.
Participants may decline photography at any time and may request removal of approved images by contacting models@dermainstitute.com.au
